Sam Stuart

CEO & Co-Founder

With 15 years in the theatre and live events industry, Sam has worked on everything from West End musicals to large-scale immersive experiences. Known for his problem-solving skills and calm leadership under pressure, Sam brings vision and precision to every project. When he’s not managing builds, you’ll probably find him sketching new ideas or tinkering with carpentry tools “just for fun.”

Luke Stuart

COO & Co-Founder

Luke made the leap from training management into theatre carpentry in 2019 and never looked back. His mix of hands-on craftsmanship and sharp organisational skills makes him the backbone of SAS Works operations. Luke thrives on complex builds (the trickier, the better) and has a reputation for keeping projects on track with a steady hand and good humour.

We’re proud to work with a trusted pool of freelance specialists across the UK. From carpenters, scenic painters, and metal workers to stage crew and prop finishers, we bring in the right talent for every project. This flexible approach means we can scale up quickly, adapt to fast-changing production needs, and always deliver the highest standard of work.

Our extended team shares our values of craftsmanship, reliability, and creativity, whether they’re painting intricate parquet floors, fabricating steel frames, or working late on-site to make sure a show opens on time.
