Sam Stuart
CEO & Co-Founder
With over 15 years of experience in theatre, live events, and scenic construction, Sam has worked on everything from West End musicals and touring productions to large-scale immersive experiences. As co-founder of S.A.S Works, he oversees workshop operations, theatre set building, scenic fabrication, and installations, working closely with designers, production managers, and creative teams to bring ambitious ideas to life.
Known for his practical problem-solving and calm leadership under pressure, Sam combines technical expertise with a hands-on approach to every project. When he’s not managing builds, you’ll probably find him sketching new ideas or tinkering with carpentry tools "just for fun".
Luke Stuart
COO & Co-Founder
Luke made the leap from training management into theatre carpentry and scenic construction in 2019 and never looked back. As co-founder and COO of S.A.S Works, he plays a key role in managing workshop operations, project delivery, logistics, and installations, helping ensure every build runs smoothly from concept to completion.
Combining hands-on craftsmanship with strong organisational skills, Luke thrives on complex builds and finding practical solutions to challenging projects. Known for his steady approach, attention to detail, and good humour, he works closely with clients, designers, production managers, and the workshop team to keep projects on track and delivered to the highest standard.
